This past year showed that there is a big demand for democracy support and Demo Finland’s work. During the year, we have piloted new activities in Ethiopia and Sri Lanka, supporting democracy in six countries altogether. In Finland, we have highlighted the importance of democracy support by organizing events and discussions with experts and political parties. In addition, we have advocated for democracy support both in Finland and through our international networks. Warm thanks to everyone who has participated in our activities in 2019!
However, the work is not done yet, and our work for democracy and multiparty dialogue continues in 2020! Before that, it is time to get some rest. Demo Finland’s office will be closed between 21.12.-1.1.
