Demo Finland and Kehys invite everyone interested in democracy and development issues to the seminar of the International Day of Democracy. The seminar will cover topics on European Union’s role on the democracy development of its neighbouring areas. The seminar will be held at Postitalo on Sept. 15th at 9.30.
On the evening of the International Day of Democracy, Demo Finland’s documentary film, A Vote for a Women, will premiere at Kino (Eerikinkatu 11). The documentary follows the campaigns of several women candidates before the Finnish parliamentary election of April 2011. After the show, the evening continues with live music in Dubrovnik Lounge.
