Demo Finland and dozens of other European democracy and human rights organisations have signed a statement on the European Democracy Action Plan. They demand the European Democracy Action Plan to be ambitious and comprehensive in scope, and implemented in an inclusive multistakeholder manner using all the tools the European Commission has at its disposal.

As the Covid-19 crisis has further exacerbated the trends weakening democracy, EU’s commitment to democracy is more important than ever.
