We are delighted to announce the online launch of WFD’s environmental democracy research in Africa: Democratic Practices in Climate Change Adaptation.
During this webinar, we will present key findings and recommendations from our newly published research papers, exploring the role of democratic governance in addressing climate change adaptation across six African countries: Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and The Gambia.
The discussion will feature distinguished speakers, including Rachel Kyte, UK Special Representative for Climate; Anthony Nyong, Director of Climate Change and Green Growth at the African Development Bank; Members of Parliament from African countries; and leading experts in climate policy and democracy.
