Once again, Demo Finland will bring together all its member parties at the World Village Festival that will take place on May 24th-25th in Helsinki. Demo Finland’s Democracy Tent will be open to visitors according to the opening times of the festival.
The thematic focus areas of this year’s festival are climate and Latin America. For Demo Finland and its member parties, EU elections of Sunday 25th May will also be one of the topics. In the Democracy Tent, it’s possible to meet politicians from all parliamentary parties and also to send greetings to politicans. Detailed programme will be published later in May on the Facebook event page.
Together with the Finnish NGDO Platform to the EU, Kehys, Demo Finland will organise a panel discussion with EU candidates. The panellists will discuss on the global role of the EU. The discussion will be in Finnish.
