Making climate policy more just through democratic means (2025) discusses how democracy and new democratic ways of decision-making can facilitate more just or more ambitious climate policies, as well as how climate policy affects the stability and crisis resilience of societies. Both the effects of climate change and the implementation of the sustainability transitions required by climate policy affect different groups of people in different ways, so in order to strengthen justice, it is necessary to ensure that policies are implemented in a participatory manner and with the needs of different groups in mind.
