Political party co-operation and constructive debate, despite differences, are among the strengths of Finnish democracy. Demo Finland’s activities are a demonstration of how democracy can be strengthened together.
The political parties’ ability for constructive collaboration and dialogue strengthens democracy and society’s resilience against various crises. Democracy must be continuously developed. Therefore, co-operation between political parties must also be strengthened.
The Finnish parliamentary parties congratulate Demo Finland on its 20 years of supporting democracy around the world. As an organisation of all parliamentary parties, Demo Finland is globally unique, and its work sets an example of the parties’ commitment to supporting democracy in collaboration.
We want to continue our co-operation to strengthen democracy in the future.
