Monday 8th December at 14:00-16:00
Kirjasto 10 (Postitalo, Elielinaukio 2 G)
In Tunisia, the first parliamentary elections after the new Constitution took place in October. The elections were praised in the global media as the true achievement of Tunisia’s democratic transition. How do the young party politicians experience the current situation? How did young people participate in the elections and what does the future look like for the youth who were the initiators of the 2011 revolution?
Demo Finland and the Finnish Youth Research Network invite you to discuss these issues together with students of the Tunisian School of Politics, supported by Demo Finland. The seminar “Youth and Elections in Tunisia – Way Forward” will take place on Monday 8.12. at 14 in Kirjasto 10.
